GOD-CENTRED PRAYING
Most of praying these days in Christianity is too devil-centred. The devil is a rare word in the Old Testament, Satan or adversary is found few times. The people who walked with God in the Old Testament were not concerned about the devil. They were concerned with pleasing God.
In the New Testament, the devil was not mentioned in association with prayer, not even once. The issue with the devil in the NT is about resisting his temptations. We see from James 4 and 1 pet 5.
These messages teach us what to focus us, rather than focusing on the devil, his agents and our enemies in prayer. We are to pray about things that draw us closer to God and bring the presence of God down into our lives.

Warding off Satanic attacks
Prayer aid for righteousness.
Purifying the spirit
Increasing in the knowledge of God
